How do I create a release?
Create an account and build your track in our easy-to-use web uploader or mobile app. Add release info and artwork files, select the stores you want to distribute to and that’s it. Your music is on its way into the world!
How long does it take for my releases to reach stores?
Amuse Start users can choose release dates at least 28 days into the future. Amuse Pro and Boost users have access to Fast Lane Releases, meaning they can pick a release date 14 days into the future.
Before sending the release off, we make a quick review to check that it lives up to the rules set by each store. This ensures that it will be accepted everywhere and not taken down. You can see the status of your release on our mobile and web apps.
Can I make changes to a release after it’s been submitted?
Artwork and/or artist name: Yes! Reach out to our customer team to change this.
Audio file changes // removing tracks from a release: No, you need to upload a new release. If the release has been live, make sure to reuse the old track’s/release’s ISRC code when you reupload and they’ll keep their streaming data. Ask us to delete the old upload once the new one is live on streaming services.
What is important when it comes to artwork?
Amuse is all for artistic freedom, but your creativity needs to live within the rules set by the music stores to not be taken down. Use high-quality image and text, own the rights to the image, and use the same text on the artwork that is on the release (release title, artist name, etc).
Can I get my already released music live on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok?
Yes, we can help you with this. First, upgrade to Amuse Pro or Boost (if you haven't already). Then, to get your previous releases live in Pro/Boost stores such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, please submit a request and make sure "All other issues" is selected. In the drop-down menu asking "How can we help you?", choose "I want to deliver my old releases to all the Pro stores". Make sure to include the correct releases in the "Release ID" field.
Can I upload a soundtrack?
Yes, you can upload a soundtrack. If it’s an actual soundtrack or score to a movie, TV series, or game, add the information in brackets or parentheses in the title. For example: Breaking Bad (Original Score from the Television Series).
Can I upload a cover?
Yes, you can upload a cover. The song must be your own recording and you need a license to release it in some markets (like the US and Canada).
Can I upload a remix?
Yes, you can upload a remix. But you need 100% distribution rights (aka you need permission from the original owners of the track or parts of a track). If it’s a remix of your own song, you can release it. More guidelines here.
Can I use samples in my music?

What stores and streaming platforms does Amuse deliver to?
Amuse distributes to all the major stores and streaming platforms: Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Deezer, Claro Música, Amazon Music, Napster, Google Music and YouTube Music.

What if my release is live on the wrong artist profile?
Sometimes the stores have a hard time matching releases to the correct profile if multiple artists share the same artist name. If your music is showing up on the wrong artist profile on any store or streaming platform, we need to reach out to them for you. Submit a request for us to fix it!
When contacting our support team, don't forget to give us:
- the correct artist profile page (write NEW if you need a new profile made),
- the link(s) to the release(s), and
- the link to the incorrect artist profile where it is at now (write WRONG artist profile next to this).
Why is my release missing from some stores or streaming platforms?
If your music is missing in a store but is already out on others, it is most likely still being processed in that store.
If it’s been a while, we’d be happy to check on your release. Just submit a request and include the Release ID (5 or 6 digits visible in the app under the release).
