Even though Amuse always sends your release information exactly as you submitted it, stores may occasionally have trouble matching your releases to the correct artist profile. This process is automated, so it is not always foolproof. If your music ends up on the wrong artist profile, or if you notice another artist’s release showing up on your own profile on any store or streaming platform, we are here to help you fix it.
Please note that royalties are processed through a separate system and are not affected by the artist page on which your releases appear.
How you fix the issue depends on which store the mix-up appears in. You will find the details for each store below.
Spotify
If your release appears on the wrong artist profile, you see another artist’s tracks on your profile, or your catalog is spread across multiple profiles, there are a couple of ways you can fix it.
Via Spotify for Artists
Log in to your Spotify for Artists account
Fill out the content mismatch form accurately
Spotify will get back to you once the issue is fixed, usually within a few days.
Via Amuse
Log in to your Amuse account, click the messenger box at the bottom right, and send us a message with:
The link to each album on the wrong page
The link to the incorrect artist profile
The link to the correct profile, or a note that you need a new profile created
Apple Music
Albums from multiple artists can appear on the same artist page, especially if they share the same name. In these cases, Apple will either create a new page or move the correct release(s) to the appropriate artist page. You can fix this in one of the following ways:
Via Apple Music for Artists
To correct this, contact Apple via this form. Select 'Artist Catalog Issues' as the Topic, and provide the following information:
Artist name
Artist Page URL
Explanatory message
Album links for content that do not belong on this artist's page
or album links for content that are missing from this artist's page
Via Amuse
- Only if you need a new artist page created -
Log in to your Amuse account, click the messenger box at the bottom right, and send us a message with:
The Artist's name
The link to each album on the wrong page
A note that you need a new page created
YouTube | YouTube Music
When your music is released on YouTube, it appears on a Topic Channel. It will be delivered to your personal YouTube channel only if you have a verified Official Artist Channel (OAC).
Certain releases, often the first ones, may be placed on the wrong channel or a generic Release Topic channel generated by YouTube. YouTube says these are usually corrected within a few weeks, but we can help fast-track the process. Depending on which type of incorrect channel scenario is occurring, we’ll need different information from you:
Wrong Topic/OAC Channel
Log in to your Amuse account, click the messenger box at the bottom right, and send us a message with:

Log in to your Amuse account, click the messenger box at the bottom right, and send us a message with:
Your artist channel URL
