You can set up a Business (Self-Billing) Account for royalty payouts in your Amuse Wallet through our Trolley integration. This option enables you to withdraw your royalties directly to your tax-registered business account, making it easier to manage payments for your company.
Getting started
When using the Amuse Wallet for the first time, you’ll complete a one-time setup of your payout profile. You can do this if you’re set up as a recipient of royalties, either on your own release(s) or as part of a royalty split. In other words, you need to either have funds in your balance or be expecting royalties from a release that is currently streaming or available for download.
Eligibility
To set up a Business Account through the Amuse Wallet, you must have a tax-registered company in the US, UK, or Sweden. Companies registered in other countries are not eligible at this time.
If your company is registered in one of these supported countries, you can create a Business Account on our Professional plan.
Setting up a Business Account
1. Log in to your Amuse account and head over to the Wallet tab. Then click on the Set Up Account button.
Android users should click on the '$' icon on the top right.
2. Depending on your country of residency, you will be prompted to either choose to register an Individual Account or a Business account. If you wish to register your wallet as an individual account, please continue to this article.
3. If you proceed with a business account, you will be asked to fill out your Business Details and some additional information. Just follow the steps on the screen, but be prepared to provide some of your business details, such as:
VAT number if your company is registered in Sweden.
Tax ID if your company is registered in the US or UK.
Business registration information (address, business name, etc).
Please note that providing all the relevant business information requested on screen is necessary to ensure successful royalty payouts.
4. You’re all set! It may take 1–3 business days for your request to be reviewed and processed. You’ll receive an email confirming once your Business Account has been set up.
Withdraw
Withdrawals are available via bank transfer only, with a minimum transaction amount of $50.00 USD.
By pressing Withdraw, you agree to receive a Self-bill invoice for your royalties.
Self-bills are sent on the 5th of each month
If the 5th falls on a Swedish weekend or public holiday, we’ll send it on the next business day
Withdrawal requests made after 13:00 CET on the 5th of each month will be included in the following month
You’ll have 5 days to review the self-bill once it’s sent. If we don’t hear from you, it will be considered accepted, and your payout will be processed within 14 days of the invoice date
Note: Switching between Individual and Business accounts is not possible from your Amuse account. However, if you need to change the account type you registered, contact our Support team, and they'll help you make the change.
