Wallet: Individual Account

Set up your Wallet to withdraw your royalties.

Our payment solution simplifies royalty withdrawals through our partnership with Hyperwallet, enabling seamless payouts.

When using your Amuse Wallet for the first time, you’ll complete a one-time setup of your payout profile. You can do this if you’re set up as a recipient of royalties, either on your own release(s) or as part of a royalty split. In other words, you need to either have funds in your balance or be expecting royalties from a release that is currently streaming or available for download.

Set up an Individual Account

  1. Log in to your Amuse account and head over to the Wallet tab. Then click on the Set Up Account button.

  2. Depending on your country of residence, you will be prompted to either choose to register an Individual Account or a Business Account. If you wish to register your wallet as a business account, please continue to this article.

  3. If you proceed with an individual account, you will be asked to fill out your Payout Profile details. This includes your personal details and address.

Important: Ensure all information is accurate and that the name on your Amuse account matches the name on the bank account you register. Incorrect details may result in withdrawal failures.

  4. The next step is to set up your Transfer method. First, you’ll be prompted to select the currency in which you’d like to receive your payment. The available currencies depend on your country/region. The available transfer methods will then depend on the currency you select. Choose your preferred method and fill in the required details.

  5. You're all set!

Withdrawal

To withdraw your royalties, go to Balance in your Wallet and click the Withdraw button.

We recommend waiting until your balance reaches $10 before making a withdrawal. This helps minimize the impact of processing fees on the amount you receive.

Partial withdrawals are not allowed, so when you click Withdraw, your entire balance will be transferred.

Available transfer methods

We offer the following transfer methods:

  • Bank or wire transfer: Make sure the name on your bank account matches your legal name and the name on your Amuse account. If your country requires an IBAN, double-check that you’ve entered it correctly. Incorrect details, such as the bank account number, routing number, or account holder’s name, may cause withdrawals to fail or be returned, potentially resulting in additional return fees or delays.

  • PayPal: Make sure your PayPal email address matches the email address associated with your Amuse account. Your PayPal account must also be verified to avoid potential payment failures.

Note: Available transfer methods depend on your country of residence and selected currency. These options are provided by Hyperwallet, our payment processing partner. If a transfer method isn’t listed as available, it cannot be added.

Fees, limits, and processing times

Depending on your chosen transfer method, there are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Transfer fees: Charged by the financial institution processing your transfer. Fees typically range from $1 to $8 USD, but may be as high as $15 USD in certain countries. The amount depends on your transfer method, country, and currency.

  • Currency exchange rates: Apply when converting USD to your local currency.

  • Minimum withdrawal limit: Your balance must meet the minimum withdrawal requirement and cover the applicable transfer fee for the withdrawal to be successful. If your balance is below the minimum amount, the required limit will be displayed below your balance.

  • Processing times: Vary depending on your chosen transfer method. The times displayed are estimates based on average processing times, and it may take up to 10 days for the funds to reach your bank account.

You can view the applicable fees and estimated processing times when selecting your Transfer Method.

Please note: Transfer fees, minimum withdrawal limits, and processing times are determined by Hyperwallet and the financial institutions involved in processing your transfer. These are outside Amuse’s control and cannot be changed by Amuse staff.
