When we’ve approved and delivered your release, each store will start processing it on their end. If you’ve chosen a specific release date, your release will go live on that date in all stores. On Boost you can pick a date in 14 days, and on Pro a date in 10 days.

If you’ve chosen “Release as soon as possible”, your release will instead go live as soon as stores accept it. This will mean different days in different stores, depending on each store’s processing time.

Here are the approximate processing times per store, based on recent deliveries:

  • Spotify: 2-4 days (sometimes faster)

  • Apple Music: 1-2 days (subject to manual review by Apple, in rare cases adding 1-2 weeks)

  • YouTube Music: 1-2 days

  • Facebook/Instagram: 2-3 days (occasionally up to 2 weeks)

  • TikTok: 2-3 days (occasionally up to 2 weeks)

  • Amazon: 1-2 days

  • Deezer: 1-2 days

  • TIDAL: 1-2 days

  • Anghami: 1-5 days (subject to manual review by Anghami, adding 2-3 days)

Note that the stores' processing can only start once the release has passed Amuse’s content review and has been delivered. You can affect the speed of the content review by submitting good quality metadata, audio- and artwork files!

What can I expect if I choose “Release as soon as possible”?

If you have a Pro or Boost subscription, you can choose the “Release as soon as possible” option. This means that your release goes live as soon as stores accept it.

Choose Pro for the quickest release - often within 48 hours in select stores. Or, go with Boost for a still speedy option, live in as little as 5 days.

This option is great if you just want your music available fast and don’t mind that it’ll go online on different days in different stores. Note that once you’ve submitted your release, the release timing cannot be changed. If you change your mind and want the release to go live on a specific date on all stores at once, you’ll need to submit a new release and choose “Select a release date”.

What are the benefits of setting a release date?

Planning to promote your release before it goes live? If yes, we always recommend choosing a specific release date.

Remember that most promotional activities that lead up to a release require a specified release date. Some activities also require a minimum lead time between delivery to stores and the release date, for example playlist pitching, pre-saves and promotion in media. So if you want to promote your release in advance of it going live, be sure to pick “Select a release date” when you submit your release!
