Team

Let your team manage your artist project on Amuse. Invite collaborators to distribute music, set up royalty splits, access listener data, and track song performance in one place.

Updated today

Amuse users can add up to 20 team members to an artist profile, such as managers, producers, and label staff, depending on their subscription.

This feature allows you to invite your team to manage your artist project, giving them access to distribute music to stores, set up royalty splits between artists, gather listener data, and track your song’s performance.

Team permissions

Each role grants your team members different permissions and access levels.

Invited team members will need a subscription to be an Admin or Member (not just a Spectator), as well as to access release Insights.

Note: The ability to have multiple artist profiles on one account is not available for all subscribers. This means that if one of your team members has a subscription that allows only one artist, they will need to upgrade to manage multiple artists on their roster.

Read more about our plans and what’s included here.

Owner

This is the owner of the artist, by default the account that created the artist. The owner can invite and remove team members, create releases, see releases and streams, and edit splits. There can only be one owner per team, and this cannot be changed without contacting support (see here).

Admin

Can invite and remove team members, create releases, see releases and streams, and edit splits.

Member

Can create releases, and see releases and streams.

Spectator

Can only see releases and release information.

Add a team member

Click “Artist” in your Amuse dashboard, navigate to the “Team” section, and click “ADD TEAM MEMBER”. There, add their information (first name, last name, and email) and set their permission level. Click “Invite team member”.

Once they accept your invitation via email, you’re all set!

Remove a team member

To remove a team member from an artist profile, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Amuse account and ensure the correct artist profile is selected. If you manage multiple artists, use the artist selector in the top-left corner of the interface to switch between profiles

  2. Navigate to the Artist tab

  3. Scroll to the Team section, which lists all team members associated with the selected artist

  4. Locate the team member you’d like to remove

  5. Click the three-dot menu icon next to their name

  6. Select Remove team member from the dropdown options to finalize their removal

Move an artist profile to another account

If you wish to transfer ownership of an artist profile from your account to someone else’s account—meaning they would become the owner of your artist profile—please contact us by logging in to your Amuse account and clicking the messenger box in the bottom right corner.
