When you cancel your Boost subscription and downgrade to our Start tier, the Boost features that you currently have will be disabled. Here’s a summary of what will change:
Stores:
Your releases will stay up on all major streaming services (Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, Google Play, Audiomack, Boomplay*, KKBox, Pandora, iHeart Radio, Tencent, Resso, NetEase Cloud Music, 7Digital**, JioSaavn, Amazon and YouTube Music), but they will disappear from premium stores (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Anghami and Soundcloud).
*Only available in African regions
Splits:
All of your royalty splits that you have set up will stay put, but you will now pay 15% on your splits (existing and future) for upcoming royalties as a Start user.
Note: this is only for releases with splits, you still receive 100% royalties for releases without splits. You can view your splits by logging into your Amuse account on our web app.
YouTube Content ID:
YouTube Content ID monetization is removed from all your tracks.
Releases:
As a Start user, it's not possible to pick custom release dates. There will be an automatic release date set 28 days in the future. The custom release date and “fast lane” options are available to Boost and Pro users.
Support:
The response time for Start users is around 5 business days, whereas Boost users get guaranteed support within 72 hours for any issue.
