How can I get data about my streams?

You can track your progress and get access to streaming stats from Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Amazon Music and YouTube via the ‘Insights’ tab.

Who can access the data?

Whether you are on a Boost or Pro subscription, you can access stats for all your artist profiles. All your team members will also be able to access the ‘Insights’ tab.

What can I see in the 'Insights' tab?

You can get data for a specific track or a specific release and compare the number of streams between stores. Select a specific date range to have more in-depth insights.

You and your team can also check performances of any tracks featured on Spotify & Apple Music playlists. Whether it’s from an algorithmic, editorial or even a third party like our 'amuse selected' playlist, you can get a clear view of what's happening with your content in the stores.

How often does the data update?

After the release date, it can take up to 24 hours to get data from Spotify and up to 48 hours to get data from other stores. The data is usually updated every day. Sometimes the stream reports from the stores to us are delayed, in which case the statistics won't update for a few days. This is normal and will be updated once we've received the data from the stores.

What's the latest data I can see?

The stores usually report streams to us approximately 1-2 days after the stream has actually happened. So normally the latest date you can see streams for is two days previous to the current date.

Why is the number of streams different to the data reported in the Wallet?

The data used to calculate royalties go through a separate system. Data reported under the ‘Insights’ tab is there to show how your content is performing, it should not be used to calculate royalties. The most accurate streaming data is always found in the royalty report.

Why aren't my streams the same as I see in Spotify for Artists or Apple Music for Artists?

Sometimes, the stream data in the app isn’t the same as the data in Spotify for Artists or Apple Music for artists. This can be due to a few things:

  1. Your song was live through another distributor before you moved it over to Amuse (we only get streams reported to us starting from the date we released it).

  2. The data can be late: The stores usually report streams to us two days after the stream has actually happened. So normally, the latest date you can see streams for is two days earlier than today’s date.
