When YouTube Content ID is added to your release, the system scans all videos on the platform. If your music is detected, Content ID will automatically place a copyright claim on the video and begin monetizing it on your behalf.
If your track receives a Content ID claim, you can manage it directly from your Amuse account.
How can I release a claim?
Releasing a claim is easy, quick, and only requires a few steps:
Log in to your account on our Web app artist.amuse.io and click on the Artist tab in the top menu to select the artist you want to release a claim for.
Now you will see the Content ID section on the right side of the screen, identified with a YouTube symbol. Click the MANAGE button.
Click the + RELEASE A NEW CLAIM button and enter the YouTube URL of the video from which you want to release the claim. Then click Next.
From the displayed list, select the claims you wish to release for the video, and Submit.
And that’s it! The claims you've requested to release will appear under the Pending tab.
How long will it take for the claim to be released?
It can take up to 5 days for the YouTube claim to be released. To see the status of the claim, head back to the Content ID menu.
